Born and raised in Casper, Wyoming. Leah proudly calls Wyoming home. Her family roots run deep throughout the state. "Wyoming is a uniquely beautiful state. I often find myself in long conversations with visitors about the beauty and history of this great state. At its core, Wyoming embodies true American values"
A graduate of Casper College and Rocky Mountain Academy. Leah owns The Fox Spa in Casper. More recently she opened Wyoming Asbestos. A company that started with a community need. "I had a young family reach out to me in hopes that I could help them out of a tough financial situation. They lost their home to a fire and received a large quote for asbestos abatement that insurance would not cover. As an abatement contractor I was able to educate the family to safety abate the asbestos on their own. Saving this young family nearly 40,000 dollars".
Leah currently resides in Mills with her family. When she is away from work you might catch her fishing, riding her Harley, playing softball or renovating.
Business Successes The Fox Spa is a business that not only provides a unique spa environment to residents in the area but is also a foundation for young business owners to grow and develop professionally under the guidance of Leah. In an industry that is predominately female, Leah is able to help other women establish a strong foundation of economic independence through the understanding of business principles. Casper Events Center: she championed and implemented the ticket door scanning system and also designed the print at home tickets that are still in use today. You may see some of her design work still in place at the Casper Events Center.
Allegiant Airlines: during her time at Allegiant Airlines, she brought her station ranking up to 3rd out of 96 stations at the time. She was proud to follow two major destinations: Las Vegas (1st) and Hawaii (2nd). This rank meant that she had turned Casper into a highly profitable station by decreasing expenses and increasing overall profit, while carefully navigating the federal regulations of TSI and FAA as well as regular station audits.
Leah has successfully learned, championed and navigated laws and regulations through every level of government. In relation to her business where she must knowingly understand the state laws on Salons and employees. In late 2020 she worked with the city of Casper to develop massage regulations for public health and its support of licensed massage therapists. She is proud to say that massage therapist license is officially a Casper city ordinance. Leah followed federal laws and regulations during her time as Station manager for Allegiant Airlines to avoid federal fines and assist the airport to ensure they stay in compliance. During her time as a station general manager she participated in the federally required disaster preparedness exercise where she worked along side community professionals to strategize and prepare for disaster scenarios involving airlines. "Law language has become my second language. I remember looking forward to our TSA audits. It was their job to find ways to fine our station for revenue generation. I took great pride in knowing and understanding the laws and I am proud to say I never once faced a fine or investigation during my time as Station Manager"
